Responsibility and commitment

In his address, Prof. Nasih underscored the importance of responsibility and commitment for the newly inducted leaders. “Being part of a student organization is a valuable opportunity. This responsibility must be carried out with dedication and a spirit of collaboration to propel UNAIR forward,” he stated.
He also emphasized that student organizations are not merely platforms for extracurricular activities but serve as real-world training grounds for leadership. “You represent the face of UNAIR’s student leadership. Your role will have a lasting impact on academic development and meaningful contributions to society,” he added.

Strategic role of student organizations
Beyond the inauguration, the event included a briefing session on the strategic role of student organizations in supporting UNAIR’s vision as a globally recognized university. Prof. Nasih emphasized the importance of continuously improving student achievements on both national and international levels. “We aim to see UNAIR students competing and excelling in various arenas, shaping them into future leaders of distinction,” he affirmed.
During the session, he also highlighted the necessity of innovation and dedication in executing organizational programs. “Every initiative undertaken must align with the principle of contributing positively to all stakeholders. Let the organizations be the platforms for growth, development, and meaningful contributions to UNAIR and the wider community,” he urged.
With this new leadership in place, UNAIR hopes that its students will become increasingly active, innovative, and engaged in fostering an outstanding academic environment while making a significant impact on society at large.
