INSA Rennes, France, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Spring Semester Exchange Program (Intake: January – June 2026).

Academic Information

• Semester period: January – June 2026

• Credits: 30 ECTS per semester (choices must be approved by both ITS and INSA)

• Mandatory French Language Course: 4 hrs/week, 4 ECTS

Most courses are taught in French. Non-French-speaking students may combine English-taught courses, projects, and French Language Courses to complete 30 ECTS.

Estimated Monthly Costs (2022/2023 rates, subject to change)

• Housing + meal plan: €450

• Deposit: €450 (refundable)

• Meals: €3.30 (INSA cafeteria), €5–6 (fast food)

• Local transport: €19–23

• CVEC tax (for DD students only): €95 (one-time)

• Insurance (health/liability): €15–40/month

• Accommodation insurance: €20–60/year

• Visa validation tax (VLS-TS holders only): €50

Required Documents

1. CV (max 2 pages)

2. Official University Transcript in English (GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0)

3. Passport (valid for at least 1 year)

4. English proficiency: TOEFL 477 / IELTS 6.0 / French B1

   • TOEFL Prediction is accepted, but UPT Bahasa web screenshot is not

   • IUP students may provide a departmental letter confirming academic process in English

5. French as a Foreign Language Form (Fiche_form-FLE)

6. Two recommendation letters from an academic advisor

7. Statement Letter (Download here)

8. Learning Agreement (submit both versions):

   • INSA form (Contrat d’étude mobilité entrante – later completed by ITS Global Engagement)

   • ITS version (Download here) signed by student and advisor/Head of Dept.

9. GCW certificate (Non-Degree, IUP Basic, IUP Advanced, minimum grade C) or GCW Non-Degree test result ≥ 80 (for S1 students only)

Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
